The Only Way Forward is Forward: Finding Success Post COVID-19

The Only Way Forward is Forward…

Hey everybody. It’s a crazy world and crazy times right now. More than anything else, it’s important for everyone to do their part right now, including those of us in manufacturing. I’ve spent my entire career helping to implement some incredible changes in this industry, and as I’ve talked about over on my blog, the time for change is now.

So why am I reaching out to you now? It’s simple.

I want to help.

I want to help you stay in business.
I want to help you keep your employees on the payroll.
I want to help you create better products and manufacture more efficiently.

I’m Dave.
TL;DR

Here’s my offer for a free consultation service, today or any day, for your company.

Let’s see what we can do together.

About Dave

I have devoted the last 5 years of my career to increasing production, increasing efficiency, and figuring out how to produce more with less people on the plant floor. In industry lingo, this typically falls under Industry 4.0, or Digital Transformation.

In reality, I specialize in finding ways to move more product through facilities with less waste and fewer people in a very short amount of time.

I do this with both manufacturing facilities and service providers. In order to fully transform manufacturing in the world, we need to offer better solutions. I am here to help with those solutions.

What I Want To Do

At the end of the day, I want to help you. Help you get better. Help you transform, help you prepare for what comes next.

COVID-19 is our current nemesis, but let’s be realistic.

There will be a next time, and we cannot sit on our laurels hoping to somehow make it through.

When we get to the point of being through COVID-19, or through the first round of COVID-19, everything will not magically get better.

Our machines will need work, either from disuse or overuse. Our employees will be exhausted and stressed more so than ever. Some of our most valued senior staff may never return to work. With all those issues, it’s easy to get caught in the minutia, caught up in the hysteria. Our minds will want to be elsewhere, but we cannot allow ourselves to fall back into old habits.

In psychology, part of what makes it so difficult to move forward from a trauma is the continued desire to get back to the way things were before the trauma occurred. The reality is that there is no going back, no returning to your “old life.” The only way forward is to find a new, better normal.

We as individuals, we as a society, and we as an industry are experiencing an unprecedented trauma. Our choices now decide our fate later. There is no going back. The only way forward is forward.

This is the opportunity we need to take to make sure that we fortify and can weather the storm.

I never want to automate a job away. What I do want to do is to help make people’s jobs easier so they can focus on higher-level tasks. Get rid of the mundane. Allow your people to work remotely if needed. Remote the paper products that only lead to tribal knowledge.

This is my offer to you:

I genuinely, truly do want to help you. I’ll be honest and tell you that I might not be the expert that you currently need. I do, however, know a lot of people really good at their areas of expertise. All of these people are leaders in their disciplines, thought leaders, and honest to goodness experts at implementation. Everyone from distributors to programmers, a lot of good people who think outside of the box to solve real problems in facilities just like yours.

My offer to you is a free consultation where we talk about your pain points, and I give you my open and honest opinion. If I can help you, we’ll find a way to make that happen.

If I can’t help you, and you really, truly want to change, I’ll find someone who can. No questions asked. No money changing hands. Here’s your opportunity to make a difference, your chance to set the next generation up for success.

The first step is as easy as sending an email and getting on a call.
I tend to take my Zoom calls from some pretty out-there locations, so it may be worth it just to find out where I am that day.

Reach me [email protected] and together we will make a difference.
